Data Scientist / Machine Learning
We are looking for a data scientist experienced in complex predictive models. You should be passionate about your work, and excited by the opportunity to join a startup at the early stages where you can help influence the decisions and have a stake in the company.
Responsibilities:
• Solve and report complex price forecasting problems.
• Automate feedback against ground truth to assess our predictive models.
• Work well in a small team and be comfortable providing feedback.
Ideal Requirements:
• MSc or Phd degree (Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline).
• Phd or 2+ years machine learning, predictive model work experience required with proven portfolio.
• Proficient in Python (or R).
• Familiar with Hadoop and/or Spark.
• Familiar with SQL.
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Background experience in Zeppelin or other data visualization software would be advantageous.
• Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English - communicative skills essential.
Compensation
- $35K – $50K
- 1.0% – 5.0%
