Full Stack Python Developer for Cryptocurrency Services
The services we build at Cryptosphere communicate with cryptocurrency daemons and other cryptocurrency services on the backend, and need (of course) to be massively secure, scalable and polished (on the frontend / API) side.
We are looking for an all-rounder (you), who will help us at all levels of the process. You will spend a big chunk of your time coding our backends in python, but will also get your hands dirty with devops, networking, cryptocurrency, javascript, etc. You are also expected to do the frontend integration work, so HTML/CSS/Javascript knowledge is a requirement. Don't worry, the actual design work will be outsourced.
You need to be someone that will thrive on working independently with full geographic freedom. We are a 21st Century company, and all three founders work remotely. However we get together for regular hackathons in different cities around Europe – your only geographic commitments will be to attend some of these hackathons (travel in europe and UK paid for by us) – which are great fun as well as hard work!
Experience in Python is essential. Front-end technologies such as Javascript are a big plus. Some exposure to cryptocurrencies, ideally manipulating wallet APIs is a big plus, but not essential. The most important thing is a problem-solving mindset and willingness to attack new technologies - we are looking for the kind of person that finds this stuff fun, and messes around with these and other technologies in their spare time.
Excellent spoken english is fundamental.
