Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Conduce is building a data visualization platform for real-time operational monitoring and collaborative data discovery. Our IT Operations team provides stable, scalable and secure infrastructure to make this happen. Using tooling and development best practices, we define systems as code which can be run anywhere, on anything.
We are currently looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT Operations team to help build and deploy our infrastructure.
You’ll work alongside developers and system integrators to deliver our platform and support customer projects, including participating in a (weekly) on-call rotation. You’ll be 100% focused on all things Cloud, Linux, deployment and automation.
Skills & Requirements
Conduce evaluates candidates on potential, not a list of skills. That said, we’re paying attention if you have experience with:
- Backups and disaster recovery
- Cloud providers (we use Google Cloud Platform)
- Configuration Management (we use SaltStack)
- Git
- Linux (we use Debian)
- Log/Performance/Service Monitoring (we use Graylog/Prometheus/Sensu)
- Networking and VPNs
- Scripting (we use Shell and Python)
An exceptional candidate will also have experience with:
- Colocation/Private Cloud
- HashiCorp tooling (Consul, Vagrant, Vault, Terraform)
- NoSQL databases (we use Cassandra)
- Other cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure)
- Security Auditing
- Vulnerability Scanning (we use Tenable)
