Software Engineer

AddShoppers is an established B2B SaaS company in need of a Software Engineer who can seamlessly integrate into our growing team of software engineers. The ideal applicant will have an organized and creative mindset that drives him or her to find innovative solutions to uncommon problems.

If you have experience in supporting web-based technologies and the skills necessary to fulfill the obligations of a well-rounded, seasoned Software Engineer, we want to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements to design new features and engineer new systems
  • Create unit tests to ensure code is solid
  • Identify problems and propose solutions
  • Use configuration management and integration/build automation tools to build and deploy code
  • Work with product owners to meet deadlines and analyze new feature requests
  • Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments

Requirements

Ideal Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years’ software engineering and IT experience
  • Exceptional project management, communication, and organization skills

Required experience with the following:

  • Python
  • MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other modern databases
  • Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design
  • Familiarity with API Creation and RESTful services
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
  • Project management with Jira
  • Version control with GitHub
  • Google Cloud or AWS
  • Working remote

Preferred experience with the following:

  • Building high-volume applications and intuitive user interfaces
  • Identity resolution
  • Machine-learning algorithms
  • Martech and adtech landscape
  • Django framework
  • Tornado web server
  • CI/CD (Jenkins, Travis, etc)
  • Big Data Analytics
  • Data Warehousing
  • GraphQL
