Python Full Stack Developer
Grapple.news is building software that puts online content in its true context. We are looking for a full stack developer who understands that misinformation on the internet is a threat to the future of our democracy, and wants to help overcome it.
While Grapple has developed specifications and a prototype for news professionals, an incoming developer would have a wide canvas to develop innovative solutions to automatically research and fact check online content with the full support of a dedicated management and investment team. This is the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a well sourced, well funded and networked startup company born out of the newsrooms of the United States.

Needed skills:
- Python full stack development experience
- Interest in and experience in building machine learning and/or natural language processing applications
- Knowledge of IBM BlueMix
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services
- Experience with creating high-load systems;
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL;
- Experience working with Flask/Django;
- Practical knowledge of unit testing;
- Knowledge of Linux;
- Experience working with Git, GitHub
Qualified applicants should have a portfolio of working applications.
