Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python / ReactJS)

Croscon plans, builds, and grows the digital products and services that help companies become leaders in their industry. We operate in a hybrid model and also incubate and launch our own products or joint ventures with clients.

As a senior engineer at Croscon you would both architect and build new products from the ground up and maintain existing products.

In this role, you will quickly become the lead engineer on a variety of products across many industries, from insurance to unions. You will also be responsible for helping to transform a product strategy into a working experience alongside our CTO and other engineers. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to work remotely. (must overlap EST by 5 hours per day)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work alongside Product Management to execute technical product strategy
• Plan the overall architecture and engineering for our variety of projects (API Specifications, DB Schemas, approach and project breakdown)
• Establish new project architectures, build tools and institute modern processes
• Lead development efforts across a variety of projects and products.

REQUIREMENTS

• You live on planet Earth and comfortable working in your remote environment
• Can overlap EST (New York - UTC-5) by at least 5 hours per day (Our working hours are roughly: 8:30am-7pm)
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Great communicator to keep the team informed
• Have extreme ownership of work, is incredibly self-starting and proactive
• Works well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Should have at minimum 4+ years of professional software (web, full stack) engineering experience
