Web Developer

KITRO is the first fully automated food management solution for the food and beverage industry. We measure and monitor food waste in order to increase operational efficiencies and decrease cost. By seamlessly integrating with existing workflows, we bring actionable items to the table, so that our customers can save valuable time and money.

We are a small and determined team, young and dynamic, whose motivation stems from personal experience seeing food go to waste in the hotel and restaurant industry, and therefore, wanting to bring an end to this avoidable waste. We are always thinking of how to improve our product, coming up with imaginative ways to put this into place, and beginning to bring our solution to the market, so we are looking to complement our team with a driven, positive, and open-minded member.

Job Description
We are looking for a Django developer responsible for taking over the ongoing technical development of our platform. You’ll be involved in the entire life cycle of our project, from the design to the deployment of new features.
Responsibilities
Improve and maintain existing system features
Full-stack web development
Writing reusable, tested, and efficient code
Monitor and Maintain a low-latency, high-availability website
Implementation of security and data protection
Deploy the system to AWS.

Skills And Qualifications
Strong proficiency with Python and JavaScript
Experience with Django, Django Rest framework, Postgres, and AWS deployments
Understanding of usability, accessibility, security and data protection compliance
Strong candidates would have experience with these technologies, and be able to provide links to examples of their work as a portfolio

Compensation

  • $25K – $40K
  • No Equity
