Backend Developer
Unitek AI is an Artificial Intelligence driven Fintech company. We are a low-code automation SaaS platform for financial organisations.
We use Django-Rest framework for the web-development backend. We use Flask for AI service delivery. We are hosted on AWS and use EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Services for container orchastration).
We are high-tech exciting startup looking for a senior backend developer to join our team.
The ideal Candidate will have:
· 4+ years post-collegiate software development experience
· Proven programming skills in Python preferably in a microservices/distributed computing environment
* Previous experience with AWS is a plus.
· Previous working experience with Django REST Framework
· Previous working experience with RabbitMq and Redis.
· Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases in general
· Previous experience with Docker, exposure to Kubernetes.
· Knowledge of Ubuntu
· Solid knowledge of OO design, thread synchronization, and data structures
· Ability to document and implement features from high level specifications (including design and testing)
· Ability to review legacy code base to extract critical modules for reuse
· Work experience with Agile development methodology and development tools, in particular JIRA, Github etc.
