Founding Full Stack Developer, Engineer
This is an opportunity to build an enterprise web app from the ground up. You will make decisions on frameworks and build the app integrating machine learning insights and data visualisation. You will design and maintain a highly intuitive, simple, but powerful web app, consistently iterating to meet customer needs. You will work in a data-driven way, implementing UI/UX insights from A/B tests.
What we’re looking for:
We're looking for someone with a track record of quality full stack development, meeting fast deadlines. You need to be comfortable with modern front end design as well as designing RESTful APIs. We'd like you to be comfortable with designing fast, rock-solid microservice architecture in support of a SPA. You will also need to have a good understanding of web security standards and be able to design a secure product. An interest in machine learning is desirable, and a keen understanding of how to capture data from user interactions is essential, though you will have the support of a data science team.

We use Amazon Web Services and are intent on being agile and efficient. Our product uses machine learning insights, some of which are generated on the fly, and so we are excited about containerized, microservice architecture. Decoupling of front end and back end means we're interested in implementing technologies like GraphQL. We believe that our app should be able to scale rapidly and are keen on back end design that can handle capacity while being cost effective. We want someone who will be happy working in an environment that values good software engineering, taking the time to automate workflows, data pipelines, and produce replicable and extensible code with good version control practices and unit testing.
