How You’ll Work with Us

Work on something that matters

We only work on fulfilling projects - ones that we believe make the world a better place. For example, we’re currently working on software for radiation oncology clinics, software for medical image acquisition, and software related to preclinical imaging workflows.

Work from anywhere in the United States

We've been remote from the start, and we plan on keeping it that way. You can live wherever you want, so long as you live in the continental United States and have a reliable internet connection.

Go to the beach

We provide three weeks of paid time off, and we encourage you to use it. We recognize that happy and well-rested developers are successful developers. We ask that if you go somewhere interesting for vacation, you share awesome photos with your co-workers.

The Innolitics Meetups

We meet up at least two times each year to have some fun and get face time with one another. The destination always changes. Previous meetups have been in Austin, Nashville, Dallas, New York City, Boulder, and Houston. Next up is San Francisco.

Up your game

We invest in the personal and professional development of all our team members. We dedicate half a day each week to learning. We use this time to learn about new tools and techniques and discuss a wide array of topics related to our field.

Bonuses and a 401(k)

We have Traditional and Roth 401(k) options. Innolitics contributes 3% of salary per year to your 401(k) on your behalf, and that money vests immediately. The 401(k) plan includes very low-cost index mutual funds, and we cover all the plan costs.

We do NOT provide medical insurance.

We offer bonuses. When Innolitics is profitable, that profit trickles down to our employees.

Now, back to you, our new developer…

You’ll help us work on existing medical imaging codebases as well as new projects. Code that you write will often impact patients directly or indirectly, so you’ll need to be detail oriented and write thorough tests to help ensure your code is solid.

You’re the one we’re looking for if you...

  • Are an excellent developer and can adapt to new languages and frameworks quickly.
  • Write code that is easy for other developers to maintain.
  • Have excellent debugging skills. You know how to find problems and fix them.
  • Are self-motivated and are not afraid of working on open-ended tasks.

Salary will be between $70k and $95k, depending on experience.

How to Apply

  1. Complete this short coding quiz. It shouldn't take more than 5 or 10 minutes. Please include your email and full name with the quiz, and please only submit a single response. There are two questions, so don't accidentally skip the second one!
  2. Write a brief cover letter, introduce yourself, and explain why this position is of interest to you and why you would be a great fit. Please include links to projects you've built (or anything else that makes you look good), and describe your role in building them. If they’re internal projects, you can skip the link part.
  3. If you have a prepared resume, attach it as a PDF. If you don’t have a resume because you aren't even sure you’re looking to change jobs, no worries! An informal list of your work and education history are all we’re looking for.
  4. Email the cover letter and resume to info@innolitics.com after you have completed the coding quiz. Please use the same email you used when performing the coding quiz.

We look forward to hearing from you!
