Python / Django Developer- Remote working, or Plymouth, or London: £24-£40k

The role The Key/WebBased are looking for developers to join our growing team working on high-impact projects that benefit schools and local authorities throughout the UK. You will be involved in creating and maintaining web applications using Python and the Django web framework, and will have the opportunity to shape the future direction of our market-leading products. Job type: Full Time – Permanent Location: Remote working, or Plymouth, or London based Salary: £24,000-£40,000 pa, based on experience The person This would be an ideal opportunity for a developer with at least 2 years’ commercial experience using Python to build web applications. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, open-minded and have: Demonstrable experience of developing web applications with the Django framework A good understanding of ElasticSearch, Celery, Redis, Gunicorn, PostgreSQL and their roles within a Django web application A good understanding of HTML/CSS/Javascript and the Django templating system A practical understanding of Linux system administration in the context of running a web application A practical understanding of version control, preferably SVN The company WebBased recently joined The Key and together we will continue to transform the working lives of those in the education sector, and beyond, by helping them to save time, work smarter and deliver better results.
