Lead Backend Engineer - 100% REMOTE
Position summary:
This position is 100% remote. This role is one of the early roles in the US-Based Stealth Startup. As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will be helping the company build a banking app geared towards modern gamers and Esports players.
This is an exciting role for anyone who is looking for an early role in a New Stealth Startup working on an emerging app which will cater to modern gamers around the world.

Requirements:
- Must be located in EU
- 5+ years of experience with development on the backend with one or few languages such as (Python, Node.js, Go)
- Experience with designing and implementing a backend for scalable mobile and/or web applications
- Good knowledge of relational databases
- Motivated, self-driven, and leads by example
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical thinking and comfortable with decision making
Nice to have:
- Experience with GCP or AWS
- Curious by nature and wants to know how things work from a product perspective
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with working and leading remote teams
- Experience with Cyber Security
Compensation:
- 70K - 90K Euro per year
