Full Stack Python / React / DevOps Developer Contract

We are trying to understand how audiences listen to music. For this study, we will be measuring the physiological responses of audiences in concerts and need to develop hardware and software to capture this data. Our setup combines sensors and processing on Raspberry Pi hardware with data processing on servers, and for this project, we are looking for a full-stack developer with experience in Python, React, and DevOps to be a part of our interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

Must have skills:

*3+ years experience with Python, Flask/Django & React/JavaScript *Good development and tuning/optimization skills for Postgress & Redis DBs *REST API building and consuming experience are desirable. *Fluent in English

Nice to have skills:

*Experience using RaspberryPis, Ansible, Git & Jira. *Capable of documenting and diagramming functional flows and architectures. *Self-motivated, with initiative and enthusiasm, willing to work within a remote team. *Good communication skills and remote teamwork experience.
