Data Scientist - Remote Work & Gigs
Seeking: a data scientist or statistician who wants to work remotely and is looking for extra, paid projects part-time or on the side
-2+ years experience
-10-40 free hours per week
-comfortable with open-source tools for statistical analysis (R, Python, Julia, Java, Scala, etc)
-flexibility to use multiple tools for visualization
-ability to communicate results to non-technical clients
-coding skills preferred (esp. in a real language)
-specialized knowledge in various areas a plus: machine learning (supervised and unsupervised), NLP (topic modeling, word vectors), deep learning (vision and natural language), graph algorithms, Bayesian inference
You'll be joining our growing development shop, working on custom projects for a variety of clients, and working remotely with our team based in Marina Del Rey.
