As far as my studies are concerned, I have a diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering and one in Applied Informatics.

My IT background comes from projects in the areas of algorithm programming, simulation and telemetry. During my working years I have been enjoying challenges, developing my own tools and optimizing the existing ones.

Currently I am finalizing my own IoT/Cloud Based telemetry system (aka Arctic 485) for industrial refrigeration applications. A typical layout consists of a RaspberryPi connected to various sensors and controllers via the Modbus RS485 protocol. The system sends data to a cloud server running a PostgreSQL database. Access to the recorded data, alarms as well as the controllers’ settings is achieved via a web interface or android app.
