Research Assistant
The primary focus of my Ph.D. research centers around the development of a tool
aimed at detecting subtle, low-intensity seismic events through the application of
Cross Correlation, a technique commonly referred to as template matching.
I have successfully created a comprehensive software package for this purpose,
which not only facilitates the selection of appropriate templates but also excels in
identifying faint seismic events. This package has been meticulously crafted, with
the majority of its code implemented in Python, and some key functions optimized in
C for enhanced performance and efficiency.
