Web Scraping Engineer - REMOTE
We're an early stage start-up with the ambition to revolutionise retail and drive the convergence of offline and online retail with an influencer-driven shopping platform. The founder has experience and contacts in the retail sector and was the CEO and founder of an ecommerce company that was sold for 700 million EUR in 2015.
We're looking for a passionate, world-class Web Scrapper Engineer to help us gathering product information from multiple sources and largely increase our catalog database and that helps bring high-level ideas to a scalable platform and live product that will scale and grow to millions of users worldwide.
You'll be working closely with our data architecture team, creating crawlers and data extractors that will push the information into our data processing engine, making them available for our applications to search and present an up-to-date catalog of products to our users.
You should be comfortable with C# and/or Python programming languages. You are very pragmatic, problem solver and able communicative efficiently in an English-speaking environment.
This is a remote position and availability in one of the EU timezones is ideal.
