Junior / Mid-Level Engineer (Frontend speciality)
Elemetric is looking for a talented, ambitious engineer to join our growing technical team in Chicago.

We’re combining cutting-edge UI, machine learning, advanced stats, and unique collaboration features into our platform to empower research teams and re-invent analytics in this $40B industry.

You should be a skilled engineer that likes solving challenging problems, working against tight deadlines, and constantly looking for opportunities to improve. As an early member of the team, you will have ample opportunity to influence the product and work with other skilled engineers and data scientists.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writing great code; building beautiful products
- Thinking critically, pushing back against unclear directions, and taking ownership for product development
- Prototyping quickly and helping to design intuitive user interfaces
- Contributing to the product roadmap and thinking critically about ways to make the platform better
- Being a great teammate, collaborator, and contributor to the culture you want to build
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years experience developing and delivering production-grade applications
- Real-life examples of your amazing work (either on production sites or in Github)
- Strong interest in development of analytical / data-focused products or market research software
- Skills (Frontend): Angular.js, HTML5, CSS3, distributed systems
- Experience with Python / Django and AWS's infrastructure would be great (but not necessary)
- Experience writing automated tests

Compensation
- $60K – $90K
- 0.5% – 2.0%
