💼 Job Description:
As a Senior Platform Engineer (Python), you will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and managing services that power our cutting-edge platform. Your expertise in No-SQL database implementation, continuous integration, web application development, and best practices for writing robust, readable, and well-tested code will ensure the highest quality product for our users. You will also be utilizing groundbreaking technologies like LLMs to enhance your coding capabilities and push the boundaries of software development. Finally, you will join our ranks as a Python expert able to easily answer questions concerning pythonic behaviors, interpretations of the Zen of Python, and all else Python.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Python (FastAPI)
- Implement ETL processes for seamless data management and integration
- Utilize continuous integration to ensure code quality and streamline the development process
- Leverage advanced technologies and philosophies, such as ai, continuous integration, and continuous improvement to enhance productivity and innovation
- Contribute to the development of best practices, guidelines, and documentation
- Actively participate in paired programming, providing constructive feedback and support to your peers
- Provide authoritative perspective on No-Sql database implementation from all dimensions including data modeling, server administration, scaling, code-patterns and all the rest.
🔧 Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience in a Python backend development role
- Strong experience in architecting, implementing, and optimizing backend services
- Strong expertise with respect to No-Sql databases
- Minimal proficiency in ELT processes and data management
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes
- Experience using AI-powered coding tools. Comfortable consulting stack overflow, implementing existing libraries, and otherwise working to deliver great software without re-inventing the wheel.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
