We are looking for a Geospatial / Remote Sensing Engineer to lead the design and implementation of satellite data pipelines, preprocessing workflows, and geospatial analytics. You will work closely with ML and science teams to build foundational datasets powering our models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build automated pipelines for ingesting and processing satellite data
  • Develop geospatial analytics and feature extraction workflows
  • Work with Earth observation datasets (Sentinel, Landsat, MODIS, radar, etc.)
  • Construct geospatial data products for downstream ML models
  • Maintain geospatial infrastructure and metadata standards
  • Collaborate with climate, ML, and HPC teams on end-to-end pipelines

Requirement

  • 3-5 years experience in GIS/Remote Sensing Analysis
  • Proficiency with geospatial tools (GDAL, rasterio, QGIS, xarray)
  • Strong Python skills and experience processing large Earth observation datasets
  • Familiarity with atmospheric, land-surface, or environmental data
  • Experience with remote sensing algorithms (classification, change detection, etc.)
  • Ability to optimize pipelines for large-scale geospatial workloads
  • Comfortable communicating in English, both written and verbal

Preferred

  • Experience with SAR processing, atmospheric correction, or radiometric calibration
  • Experience building geospatial APIs or data services
  • Familiarity with ML workflows involving geospatial data
