Senior Data Scientist
Our mission at Acerta is to make cars safer and enable autonomous vehicles. We are building a machine learning platform that detects and predicts failures through vehicle data. With Acerta, car manufacturers and tier 1 suppliers can improve quality and monitor the health of their vehicle systems on the road. We are looking for good people to join our venture backed company of engineers and data geeks. If you have experience in developing novel analysis approaches, and have planned, developed and managed data science or research projects, and have knowledge of statistics, python, R and machine learning - let’s grab a coffee/beer and chat!
Qualifications
- Experience independently planning, developing, and managing data science or research projects
- Experience developing novel analysis approaches
- Knowledge of statistics, python, R, and machine learning
- Understanding of the practical problems of data analysis, i.e., the bias-variance problem, how much data is enough, managing degrees of freedom, etc.
- The curiosity to pursue new solutions, and an open mind to recognize them
Compensation
- $80K – $100K
