Senior Software Engineer

What will you do?
The Senior Software Engineer will work on various projects that span all parts of the system.
- Collaborate with the product team to understand the client request and scope the changes
- Add features to the system by working on the api (Django/Python) and the front-end (Angular.JS & PHP)
- Find and address performance issues
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Opinionated and yet pragmatic about technologies and development practices
- You’ll tackle complex problems and identify new ways to build extensible technology platforms that will support global transactions.
- You’ll recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and existing alternatives.
What skills do you have?
- 6+ years extensive experience in full stack development
- An expert in several languages - we like Python & PHP
- Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (AngularJS is a plus).
- Experience with a big relational database (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Self starter with out of the box thinking.
- Experience with API design, and working with complex data structures.
- Interest in solving real-world business problems
- Extremely resourceful
- Curious
