Back-end Engineer
Rigly is the first auction marketplace for bitcoin mining hashrate. History is full of mining scams, which is why we protect buyers via our on-chain escrow workflow, which we call Trustless Mining.
Our platform makes it possible to buy hashrate from mining farms around the world and mine bitcoin - without getting rugged.
We have 80% of our platform built and we need your help to get it over the finish line.
Job description
You will be responsible for development tasks in our back-end platform. This includes implementing new features and changes in our auction platform, order entry, escrow, and admin interface. You will work closely with the director of development and founders.
Please note: this is an equity-only role
Requirements
- You are able to program in Javascript and Python and are familiar with the Django framework
- You have developed back-end code on a website platform
- You are able to create new API endpoints and expose variables to the front-end

Compensation
This is an equity-only role. You will receive generous stock options and future profit sharing.
Who we are
Rigly was founded in 2022 following a mining research project at Chaincode Labs. We are building the open marketplace to enable mining to scale bitcoin to the next level.
