Contract Python Developer

Are you a skilled Python developer with experience in data integration and API integration? Are you passionate about renewable energy and want to contribute to a growing start-up focused on wind energy? If so, we want you to join our team!

We are a small, fast-paced renewable energy start-up looking for an hourly contract Python developer to assist with data integration into our GIS-based platform. As our Python developer, you will play a critical role in helping us streamline our data collection processes and improve the accuracy and efficiency of our data analysis.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Python scripts to integrate data into our GIS-based platform. Work with APIs to extract and manipulate data from external sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Utilize Esri ArcGIS software suite to analyze and visualize data. Troubleshoot and debug Python scripts as needed.

Requirements

Proficient in Python programming language and related libraries. Experience with API integration and data extraction. Proficient with Esri ArcGIS software suite and ArcPy development. Strong problem-solving, communication and critical-thinking skills.
