VP of Engineering

Responsibilities:
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with our business goals
- Design and implement software architecture and select a technology stack
- Set up a development team workflow, conduct code, and design reviews
- Break down development tasks and supervise hiring of developers
- Determine KPIs of developers and mentor newly hired developers
- Communicate with stakeholders
- Ensure scalability of the application and the infrastructure
- Explore new technologies and decide whether to implement them
- Define and implement development standards according to up-to-date coding methodologies and best practices
- Manage technical risk and ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a VP of engineering or similar leadership role
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
- Understanding of budgets and business-planning
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Strategic thinking
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Healthcare industry knowledge is a plus
- BSc/BA/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field;
