Full-Stack Developer
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make their mark with a rapidly growing start up on the cutting edge of survey, feedback, curation, filtering, & data analytics technology.
Duties:
Work with a designer to set and implement a vision for Woxxer’s look and feel
Build and maintain responsive, engaging web survey/ feedback tool components that work on desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones across a wide variety of browsers
Maintain and improve survey modification tools and the server infrastructure that supports them
Work with data scientists to design and implement novel visualizations of survey data
Produce efficient, production quality code that will allow Woxxer to scale quickly
Qualifications:
Five or more years experience developing on the front and back end
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Expert at creating responsive web applications or components that work across a wide variety of platforms and browsers
Ability to produce rock-solid, standards-compliant HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript based on designs and input from technical management
Working knowledge of jQuery and Angular.js (other frameworks a plus)
Experience with Django and Node.js (other server technologies a plus)
Exposure to both SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL (Couchbase preferred) databases
Portfolio of relevant work you can share/ show us (at least indirectly)
Other Desirable Skills:
Graphic design experience
Experience building web components with native JavaScript
Understanding of basic statistics and data science
