Data Analyst
More than 40% of college students in the U.S. drop out -- some 37 million Americans in the last two decades. Many of these “Forgotten Students” leave college with mountains of debt (over $27 billion annually) and without the earning power of a diploma. The social, economic, and human potential loss is enormous.

Founded in 2015, we are the only organization that focuses exclusively on helping universities engage and re-enroll students who have “stopped out” and support them until graduation, through our technology-enabled service. To date, we have re-enrolled over 7,500 students and recaptured over $18 million in tuition for our university partners.
The Role
ReUp Education in seeking an experienced analyst to dive deep into our data, work collaboratively across teams and share insights. You will play a central role in bringing data to the forefront of all decisions and be an important data advisor at the launch of new initiatives. If you are a curious analyst with strong SQL, Python and business acumen, then we want to hear from you! This is an early stage role with extremely varying functions; from light data engineering, to data product, resulting analysis, insight generation and end recommendations. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Partner with marketing, product and coaching team to better understand
our universities and students to enhance and strengthen our support
systems.
- Design dashboards and reports to communicate business trends and
opportunities
- Validate data and ensure that we have data points for analysis
- Enable self-service analytics through BI enhancements
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to help clients discover new insights regarding
current and prospective students
- Querying data lake and leveraging pre-existing data exports
- Analyze client data in SQL, statistical languages, and BI tools like Tableau
- Visualize findings and create dashboards to allow the broader team to
understand and use data to power decision making
- Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations and present to clients
and the internal team
Requirements
-2-5 years of related work experience in analytics
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience with at least one analytics & visualization tool such as AWS
QuickSight, Tableau, Mode
- Highly analytical and quantitative, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business or
quantitative focused study
