Senior Python / Django Engineer
Core4ce is hiring a Back-end Software Engineer for our internal research and development team. Working in Python/Django this role will support a new corporate product initiative. The selected individual will develop, maintain, and evolve a Django application that speaks to a complex Javascript/React front end via restful APIs, integrates against several third-party APIs for data retrieval, and runs on AWS GovCloud.
This engineer will help in the evolution of an existing system to meet new business requirements, and help engineer the system for an anticipated growth in usage. This position may grow into a management position with the success of the software-as-a-service platform.
In addition to other responsibilities, this role will participate in the team's scrum ceremonies, collaborate in the evolution of the platform's feature set, and have input into future business strategies involving the product's direction.
Requirements
3+ years developing web applications / RESTful web APIs with Django
Experience building a robust, resilient, and elastic architecture with Python/Django
Experience integrating with 3rd-party REST APIs
Experience working with a CI/CD pipeline for software delivery
Modern source control proficiency (Git strongly preferred)
Desired Qualifications:
Working in a scrum-based agile methodology
Designing systems for elastic workloads
Previous experience working on a project involving AWS GovCloud / FedRAMP certification
